US Forged Rings plans new expansion project in North Carolina
Winton, North Carolina — According to state and local development sources, US Forged Rings plans to invest $875 Million to expand into new space in Winton. The company plans to occupy the new space in Winton, on or about May 1, 2028. According to the company website, US Forged Rings Inc. (USFR) is developing on the East Coast of the USA, a vertically integrated industrial manufacturing complex that will deliver urgently needed domestic capacity in the United States for producing very large forged components, high-integrity steel fabrications and specialty tubulars. Located on a site with direct ocean access, the facility will support critical U.S. industries, including nuclear power generation, shipbuilding and defense, as well as LNG infrastructure, hydrogen and carbon-capture. USFR is backed by the extensive industrial expertise and global track record of its founders globally recognized leaders in the manufacture of forged and welded steel components.
