Saint George, South Carolina — According to state and local development sources, Google plans to invest $2 Billion to build out new space in Saint George. The company is creating 200 new jobs at this facility. The company plans to occupy the new space at Winding Woods Commerce Park in Saint George, on or about December 1, 2026. According to the company website Googles mission is to organize the worlds information and make it universally accessible and useful. Since our founding in 1998, Google has grown by leaps and bounds. From offering search in a single language we now offer dozens of products and services including various forms of advertising and web applications for all kinds of tasks in scores of languages. And starting from two computer science students in a university dorm room, we now have thousands of employees and offices around the world.
