Austin, Texas — According to state and local development sources, AT&T plans to invest $4.5 Million in a 19,500 square foot renovation of existing interior space to accommodate a new server room. The work will include partial demolition of existing storefront system, a new raised subfloor, ceiling grid and lighting in Austin. The company plans to occupy the new space at 9825 Spectrum Drive, on or about November 1, 2027. According to the company website AT&T Inc. is an American multinational conglomerate holding company that is Delaware-registered but headquartered at Whitacre Tower in Downtown Dallas, Texas. It is the worlds largest telecommunications company, it is also the largest provider of mobile telephone services in the U.S. As of 2020, AT&T was ranked 9th on the Fortune 500 rankings of the largest United States corporations, with revenues of $181 billion.
