Square to spend $2,200,000.00 to occupy 24,142 square feet of space in Atlanta Georgia.

May 22, 2020 Craig Etkin

Atlanta, Georgia — According to state and local economic development sources Square plans to invest $2,200,000.00 to build out 24,142 square feet of new space in Atlanta. The company plans to occupy the new space at 271 17th St NW in Atlanta, on or about January 1, 2021. According to the company website At Square we’re building easy tools to empower and enrich people. Tools that shorten the distance between having an idea and making a living from it because we believe in fair and square. We started with a little white card reader but haven’t stopped there. Our new reader helps our sellers accept chip cards and NFC payments, and we have tools for customers too, like our Cash App, which lets people send money to friends and family instantly.
