Sortera Technologies has filed a notice of an exempt offering of securities to raise $144,499,788.00 in New Funding.

August 10, 2026 Craig Etkin

According to filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Sortera Technologies is raising up to $144,499,788.00 in new funding. The federal securities law requires the notice to be filed by companies that have sold securities without registration under the Securities Act of 1933 in an offering made under Rule 504 or 506 of Regulation D or Section 4(a)(5) of the Securities Act. A company must file this notice within 15 days after the first sale of securities in the offering. For this purpose, the date of first sale is the date on which the first investor is irrevocably contractually committed to invest. Each issuer of securities that sells its securities in reliance on an exemption provided in Regulation D or Section 4(a)(5) of the Securities Act of 1933 must file this notice containing the information requested with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and with the state(s) requiring it. If more than one issuer has sold its securities in the same transaction, all issuers should be identified in this filing with the SEC.

About Sortera Technologies
Sortera brings state-of-the-art artificial intelligence, image/data analytics, and advanced sensors to the industrial scrap metal recycling and re-use industry. This disruptive technology drives new paradigms by generating new high purity recycling products through advanced industrial scale sortation methods. Creating novel high purity recycled (and up-cycled) metal feedstocks from existing scrap streams enables the domestic supply of metals and alloys ready for use for high-quality domestic manufacturing, boosting the strength of the circular economy. Sorteras vision is to enable 100% reuse of metals recovered from end-of-life products for manufacturing of similar products. The core artificial intelligence recycling technologies were developed from federal grants awarded from The Department of Energys (DOE) Advanced Research Projects Association (ARPA-E) to UHV Technologies, Inc.
