Fort Worth, Texas — According to state and local development sources, Security State Bank & Trust plans to invest $2,346,000.00 to build out 8,500 square feet of new space in Fort Worth. The company plans to occupy the new space at 4310 W. Vickery Blvd. in Fort Worth, on or about June 1, 2026. According to the company website Security State Bank was born in the heart of Fredericksburg, Texas and still resides in the former Buckhorn Saloon building at 201 West Main. In 1941 a group of local businessmen saw a need for a new bank to better serve the communitys needs. On April 12, Security State Bank officially opened for business in the old saloon building. The white-tailed deer was used as the banks logo as a salute to the simple beginnings of our first property.
