Lancaster, South Carolina — According to state and local economic development sources Scientex Packaging Film plans to invest $43,000,000.00 to build out new space in Lancaster. The company is creating 69 new jobs at this facility. The company plans to occupy the new space at 234 Grace Avenue in Lancaster, on or about January 1, 2021. According to the company website For close to five decades, Scientex has played a pivotal role behind Malaysia’s progress in industrialization and maturity as a nation. During that time, Scientex has been a model of growth and diversification in becoming a leading manufacturer on a global scale and a leading property developer for affordable homes on the local front.
