PPG plans new construction project in Delaware, Ohio
Delaware, Ohio — According to state and local development sources, PPG plans to invest $280 Million to build out 100,000 square feet of new space in Delaware. The company is creating 100 new jobs at this facility. The company plans to occupy the new space at 760 Pittsburgh Dr in Delaware, on or about April 1, 2028. According to the company website PPG Industries, Inc. is an American Fortune 500 company and global supplier of paints, coatings, and specialty materials. With headquarters in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, PPG operates in more than 70 countries around the globe. By revenue it is the second largest coatings company in the world behind Sherwin-Williams. PPG was founded in 1883 when Capt. John B. Ford and John Pitcairn started the first commercially successful plate glass factory in the United States, in Creighton, Pa.
