La Porte, Texas — According to state and local development sources, Port of Houston Authority plans to invest $4,020,000.00 to build out 6,386 square feet of new space in La Porte. The company plans to occupy the new space at 2013 E Barbours Cut Blvd in La Porte, on or about May 1, 2027. According to the company website, For more than 100 years, Port Houston has owned and operated the public wharves and terminals along the Houston Ship Channel, including the areas largest breakbulk facility and two of the most efficient container terminals in the country. Port Houston is the advocate and a strategic leader for the Channel.
