Chicago, Illinois — According to state and local development sources, Northeastern Illinois University plans to invest $125,400,000.00 to build out 189,673 square feet of new space in Chicago. The company plans to occupy the new space at 5500 North St. Louis Avenue in Chicago, on or about May 1, 2027. According to the company website Northeastern Illinois University offers more than 40 undergraduate degree and certificate programs and more than 50 graduate degree, certificate, licensure and endorsement programs. Founded in 1867, Northeastern has a rich tradition of educational innovation.
