Memphis, Tennessee — According to state and local development sources, Memphis Area Transit Authority plans to invest $667,874.00 to build out 12,785 square feet of new space in Memphis. The company plans to occupy the new space at 40 S Main St in Memphis, on or about 1/1/2024. According to the company website The Memphis Area Transit Authority (MATA) is the public transportation provider for the Memphis area. As one of the largest transit operators in the state of Tennessee, MATA transports millions of riders per year in the City of Memphis and parts of Shelby County on fixed route buses, paratransit vehicles, and vintage rail trolleys.
