George West, Texas — According to state and local development sources, Live Oak County plans to invest $3 Million to build out 22,987 square feet of new space in George West. The company plans to occupy the new space at 301 Houston St in George West, on or about December 1, 2027. According to the company website, Live Oak County, established in 1856 in South Texas and named for its native oak groves, is a rural county with its county seat in George West. Known for agricultural, hunting, and petroleum industries, the region features Lake Corpus Christi and Tips State Park. The county courthouse, originally in Oakville, moved to George West in 1919.
