Kin Health has raised $9 Million in new Funding
According to filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Kin Health has raised $9 Million in new Angel/Seed funding. The federal securities law requires the notice to be filed by companies that have sold securities without registration under the Securities Act of 1933 in an offering made under Rule 504 or 506 of Regulation D or Section 4(a)(5) of the Securities Act. A company must file this notice within 15 days after the first sale of securities in the offering. For this purpose, the date of first sale is the date on which the first investor is irrevocably contractually committed to invest. Each issuer of securities that sells its securities in reliance on an exemption provided in Regulation D or Section 4(a)(5) of the Securities Act of 1933 must file this notice containing the information requested with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and with the state(s) requiring it. If more than one issuer has sold its securities in the same transaction, all issuers should be identified in this filing with the SEC.
Investors in the current round of funding include: Maveron, Town Hall Ventures, Flex Capital, Eniac Ventures, The Family Fund, Pear VC, Watershed Ventures, Foundry Square Capital, and individual investors including GoodRx co-founders Doug Hirsch and Trevor Bezdek, Nabeel Quryshi, Jay Desai, Alex Cohen, Saharsh Patel and more than 30 physicians.
About Kin Health
Kin Health is a patient intelligence system that helps patients and their loved ones better understand and act on the recommendations they receive from their clinicians. On its home platform, Kin records doctor visits with the patients consent then turns those conversations into clear, accessible summaries, key takeaways, and next steps, and shares them with the patients chosen care circle so everyone stays aligned. The company focuses on bridging the gap between what is said in the clinic and what happens at home, aiming to improve patient understanding, follow-through, and sense of control without requiring changes to clinicians existing workflows or EMR integrations. Kin Health positions itself as a trusted partner for patients, clinics, and clinicians by emphasizing consent-first recording, strong patient control over their information, and modern security practices to protect sensitive health data. Based in Los Angeles and actively hiring, Kin Health is building a team dedicated to making medical guidance easier to remember, share, and act on, with the goal of helping more patients never forget what your doctor said.
