Joshua, Texas — According to state and local development sources, Joshua Independent School District plans to invest $25,000,000.00 to build out 56,000 square feet of new space in Joshua. The company plans to occupy the new space at 909 S Broadway St in Joshua, on or about January 1, 2027. According to the company website Joshua Independent School District, which was established in 1902, encompasses 76 square miles in the Burleson, Crowley, Joshua, Egan and Cleburne communities of Johnson County. Known for its small school advantages and big school opportunities, Joshua ISD is now a fast-growth district. Currently the third largest district in Johnson County, JISD is expected to add nearly 1,500 additional students in the next 10 years. The district is accredited by the Texas Education Agency. Serving a population of approximately 30,500, Joshua strives to provide a variety of quality educational opportunities in an outstanding instructional program for Pre-K through 12th grade.
