Floresville, Texas — According to state and local economic development sources Floresville Electric Light & Power System plans to invest $13,000,000.00 to build out 33,868 square feet of new space in Floresville. The company plans to occupy the new space at 187 State Hwy. 97 East in Floresville, on or about September 1, 2021. According to the company website Floresville Electric Light & Power System (FELPS) is a muncipally owned electric utility system serving Wilson and Karnes County. Our mission is to serve our communities with a safe, reliable and affordable energy source. Meet future needs through innovation and technology, and by mentoring and developing our co-workers.
