Washington, DC — According to state and local economic development sources Federal Energy Regulatory Commission plans to invest $3,659,700.00 to build out 314,584 square feet of new space in Washington. The company plans to occupy the new space at 888 1st St NE in Washington, on or about January 1, 2021. According to the company website The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, or FERC, is an independent agency that regulates the interstate transmission of natural gas, oil, and electricity. FERC also regulates natural gas and hydropower projects. FERC’s Mission: Economically Efficient, Safe, Reliable, and Secure Energy for Consumers. Assist consumers in obtaining economically efficient, safe, reliable, and secure energy services at a reasonable cost through appropriate regulatory and market means, and collaborative efforts.
