Batavia, Ohio — According to state and local development sources, Dainty Foods plans to invest $150 Million to build out 250,000 square feet of new space in Batavia. The company is creating 240 new jobs at this facility. The company plans to occupy the new space in Batavia, on or about February 1, 2027. According to the company website Les Aliments Dainty Foods Inc. operates Canada’s only rice and rice flour mill in Windsor, Ontario. Dainty offers consumer packaged rice, and flour, in all formats sizes up to full railcar or truck load. The facility has a Quality Assurance team in-house which manages Dainty food safety, being certified Gluten-Free, SQF, Organic product offerings and much more.
