Compressed Air Systems to spend $3.23 Million to occupy 40,219 square feet of space in Mansfield Texas.
Mansfield, Texas — According to state and local development sources, Compressed Air Systems plans to invest $3,229,000.00 to build out 40,219 square feet of new space in Mansfield. The company plans to occupy the space at 600 2nd Ave in Mansfield, on or about December 1, 2026. According to the company website, We founded Compressed Air Systems in 1980 as an industrial tool and equipment distribution company under the name BS Trading. It didnt take long for us to realize we could build air compressors that were easier to use and operate than the ones we were selling. We started by manufacturing 315 HP compressors in the early 1980s and expanded into larger sizes by 1990. In the early 1990s, we began manufacturing our rotary screw compressors using Bauer/Rotorcomp airends from Germany, chosen for their reputation for extreme reliability. In the early 2000s, we purchased a compressor pump manufacturing facility in Dafeng, China, allowing us to control our components and testing for reciprocating compressor pumps. Today, we source parts from around the world including valve components from Sweden, and bearings and gasket materials from the United States and Japan to ensure consistent quality and performance. Over the years, weve grown from producing a few hundred compressor packages per year to thousands annually, covering the 1300 HP range. For more than forty years, that growth has been driven by the strength of our distributor network, with our products now sold on every continent except Antarctica.
