Casimir has raised $12 Million in new Funding
According to filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Casimir has raised $12 Million in new Angel/Seed funding. The federal securities law requires the notice to be filed by companies that have sold securities without registration under the Securities Act of 1933 in an offering made under Rule 504 or 506 of Regulation D or Section 4(a)(5) of the Securities Act. A company must file this notice within 15 days after the first sale of securities in the offering. For this purpose, the date of first sale is the date on which the first investor is irrevocably contractually committed to invest. Each issuer of securities that sells its securities in reliance on an exemption provided in Regulation D or Section 4(a)(5) of the Securities Act of 1933 must file this notice containing the information requested with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and with the state(s) requiring it. If more than one issuer has sold its securities in the same transaction, all issuers should be identified in this filing with the SEC.
Investors in the current round of funding include: Scout Ventures, Lavrock Ventures, Cottonwood Technology, Capital Factory, American Deep Tech, and Tim Draper of Draper Associates.
About Casimir
Casimir is a technology company developing proprietary Casimir cavities that harvest energy from quantum fields to provide continuous, unlimited power for electronic devices by capturing energy from all around us rather than relying on traditional batteries, cords, or charging. Its chips are designed to function anywhere, day or night, and are described as analogous to a solar panel that works in the dark or a battery that never needs to be recharged. By embedding these power-generating chips into devices, Casimir aims to keep products running indefinitely without the need to replace or recharge batteries, enabling new possibilities for sensors, consumer electronics, and other applications that benefit from long-lived, maintenance free power. The company positions itself as pioneering a new era of energy with what it calls the worlds first unlimited power supply, signaling a bold technological vision and an ambition to transform how everyday devices are powered. Through this approach, Casimir targets a broad market of battery-dependent products and seeks to differentiate itself as a disruptive provider of continuous, on chip power.
