San Diego, California — According to state and local economic development sources Amazon plans to invest $3,440,000.00  to build out  40,000  square feet of new space in San Diego. The company plans to occupy the new space at 16550 Via Esprillo in San Diego, on or about May 1, 2020. According to the company website Amazon.com, is an American multinational technology company based in Seattle, Washington, that focuses on e-commerce, cloud computing, digital streaming, and artificial intelligence. It is the world’s largest e-commerce marketplace, AI assistant provider, and cloud computing platform as measured by revenue and market capitalization.
