San Antonio, Texas — According to state and local economic development sources Alamo Colleges District plans to invest $15,595,000.00 to build out 28,380 square feet of new space in San Antonio. The company plans to occupy the new space at 1801 Martin Luther King Dr. in San Antonio, on or about July 1, 2023. According to the company website The Alamo Colleges serve an eight county region in beautiful Central and South Texas. The five colleges St. Philips (est. 1898), San Antonio (est. 1925), Palo Alto (est. 1985), Northwest Vista (est. 1995), and Northeast Lakeview (est. 2007) offer outstanding, award winning academic and leadership programs that are increasing student achievement in creative and exciting ways. Our five colleges offer a vast array of programs and two-year degrees. Recent capital improvement programs have allowed us to create some of the best facilities for teaching and learning in the country. Our credits transfer to four-year universities for those pursuing bachelors or higher degrees. And our workforce development programs help individuals build new careers and meet the needs of business. The Alamo Colleges District empowers our diverse communities for success.
