About Avant Genomics
Avant Genomics is a biotechnology company focused on transforming cancer detection by automating critical liquid biopsy sample preparation steps in the laboratory. Its first-of-a-kind platform automates blood-based cancer detection workflows by using an enclosed fluidic cartridge and benchtop instruments that reduce dozens of manual steps to just loading the sample and removing the cartridge. The system integrates DNA enrichment and purification in a closed, 12-plex cartridge, delivering over 90% reduction in manual labor and more than 80% cost savings compared to conventional methods, while improving DNA recovery, consistency, and scalability from research labs to clinical testing environments. By removing workflow bottlenecks and simplifying complex sample preparation, Avant Genomics aims to make blood-based cancer detection faster, more accurate, and more accessible for laboratories everywhere. Through this automated approach to precision sample preparation, the company positions itself as an enabling technology provider for the broader adoption of liquid biopsy in cancer care.
