Edinburg, Texas — According to state and local development sources, Tropical Texas Behavioral Health plans to invest $4,000,000.00 to build out 18,000 square feet of new space in Edinburg. The company plans to occupy the new space at 1901 S. 24th Ave. in Edinburg, on or about August 1, 2026. According to the company website Tropical Texas Behavioral Health (TTBH) is a Community Mental Health Center providing mental health, intellectual and developmental disabilities and substance abuse services to individuals in Hidalgo, Cameron and Willacy Counties in Texas. TTBH has approximately 550 employees and provides services to more than 24,000 individuals annually.
