Quantum Space plans expansion in Tulsa Oklahoma creating 50 new jobs.
Tulsa, Oklahoma — According to state and local development sources, Quantum Space plans to invest $80 Million to build out 40,000 square feet of new space in Tulsa. The company is creating 50 new jobs at this facility. The company plans to complete the expansion at Spartan Building in Tulsa, on or about March 1, 2027. According to the company website, Quantum Space is a U.S. commercial space infrastructure and services company focused on building capabilities for cislunar and lunar operations. The company says it is developing the space superhighway through commercial platforms that can provide data services, payload hosting, in-space testbed support, spacecraft deployment, and logistics for partners. Its work centers on a robotic outpost concept designed to support multiple users from lunar and Earth orbits. Quantum Space describes itself as an in-space services company and says its platforms are meant to be serviceable and customizable for different missions. The company also notes that it has been selected for advanced lunar navigation work and is expanding its manufacturing capacity to scale production of its Ranger spacecraft.
