New Braunfels, Texas — According to state and local development sources, New Braunfels Utilities plans to invest $160 Million to build out 251,041 square feet of new space in New Braunfels. The company plans to occupy the new space at 5762 IH 35 S in New Braunfels, on or about September 1, 2027. In 1959, operations of the water and wastewater systems were transferred to NBU from the City.
