All clinical services are provided by Houston Methodist Hospital staff who serve full-time at Monarch. J. Christopher Fowler, PhD serves as Executive Clinical Director responsible for shaping the treatment model and guiding the quality of care for all residents. Benjamin L. Weinstein, MD is Chair of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at Houston Methodist, and serves as a consulting psychiatrist and sits on the Board of Directors of the Monarch Community. Located in the Historic Montrose District of Houston, Monarch is a therapeutic community that specializes in the treatment of severe psychiatric disorders such as schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder, and borderline personality disorder.
