Harrisonburg, Virginia — According to state and local development sources, Leiber plans to invest $20,000,000.00 to build out new space in Harrisonburg. The company is creating 35 new jobs at this facility. The company plans to occupy the new space in Harrisonburg, on or about July 1, 2024. According to the company website Leiber GmbH is a food production company based out of Hafenstr. 24, Bramsche, Lower Saxony, Germany. Leiber refines brewer’s yeast into innovative products for people and animals. We conduct research for our customers in our own laboratories and develop tailor-made product solutions for healthy nutrition, biotechnological and agricultural applications. We deliver these products reliably in excellent quality – and have been practicing upcycling at world market level since 1954. duction and science. We are always looking for tailor-made product solutions for our customers: We research extracts and nutrients that improve the taste of food and support the health of humans and animals, as well as ingredients that enable the fermentation process in biotechnological applications. Together with our colleagues from production, we are working to efficiently transfer the results from our laboratory to a large scale. Only because we continually develop tried-and-tested products and processes and expand our product portfolio can we maintain and expand our market position for sustainable products with added value for customers and the environment. In our everyday laboratory work, we develop our products and applications, invent and optimize processes. Our experts from science and technology use their expertise to continually develop innovative applications, particularly from the raw material brewer’s yeast.
