Buda, Texas — According to state and local development sources, Futronic USA plans to invest $17,000,000.00 to build out 66,250 square feet of new space in Buda. The company is creating 200 new jobs at this facility. The company plans to occupy the new space in Buda, on or about September 1, 2025. According to the company website Futronic Co., Ltd. engages in the design and manufacture of engineered electronic and electro-mechanical systems for Automotive and other manufacturing applications. Automotive products are primarily for OE and Tier-One vehicle systems suppliers for autos, light truck and commercial vehicles and related aftermarket applications. Futronic sells non-Automotive components to OEMs of industrial and consumer products including the building, plumbing and medical industries. Futronic Co., Ltd. was founded in 1993 and is headquartered in Busan, Korea. Electromechanical actuators include 4WD shift control (X by wire, digital, & analog), electronic locking differential, EMS controlled cooling fan drive, electronic clutch coil, and SRM/BLDC. Electronic sensors include 4WD electric shift control, throttle position, pedal position, EGR control, TGS control, speed (Hall & VR) for ABS and transfer case, tire pressure & temperature, memory seat position, angle measurement, acceleration, airflow (MAF & MAP), and smog detection. Other electronics include electronic control units (ECUs), voltage regulators, electronic plumbing actuation & controls, vehicle data recorders, tire pressure monitoring systems, anti-pinch power window controls, remote keyless entry systems, HVAC, temperature controls, DC motor drivers, instrument clusters, and medical control devices.
