Oakland, CA – Center for Elders Independence has announced the appointment of Maria Lozzano as Chief Operating Officer. The Center for Elders’ Independence (CEI) is a non-profit healthcare provider dedicated to empowering at-risk individuals in the East Bay to live independently. They offer comprehensive healthcare assistance primarily through two programs: the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) for seniors aged 55 and older with multiple health challenges, and the Home and Community-Based Alternatives (HCBA) Waiver Program for vulnerable individuals of all ages requiring medical services at home. CEI’s services encompass medical care, care coordination, home care, eye and dental care, rehabilitation, transportation, nutrition, and social engagement, all designed to support seniors’ lives and independence.
