Crane, Texas — According to state and local development sources, Crane Memorial Hospital plans to invest $6,000,000.00 to build out 5,750 square feet of new space in Crane. The company plans to occupy the new space at 1303 S Alford St. in Crane, on or about November 1, 2026. According to the company website Crane Memorial Hospital is a 25-bed licensed critical access hospital serving Crane County Texas and surrounding areas with a market population of approximately 3,100. The hospital is fully accredited by the Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program (HFAP). A professional medical staff compliments the daily operation of the hospital and clinic. The hospital works in cooperation with multiple local doctors a mid-level practioner, sixteen nurses, three labs technicians and two radiologic technologists. Additionally, further staff members including the administration, business office, records department, housekeeping department, maintenance & safety department are all well trained and makeup a cooperative team. The various departments work hard keeping the hospital running efficiently. The Crane County Rural Health Clinic which provides healthcare services to the community from the hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday is just next door to the hospital. The Clinic and the Hospital work in cooperation with each other to provide excellent medical services to the community. The clinic also hosts specialty clinic services for cardiology, administered by independent providers.
