Morehead City, North Carolina — According to state and local development sources, Carteret Health Care plans to invest $50,000,000.00 to build out 20,000 square feet of new space in Morehead City. The company plans to occupy the new space in Morehead City, on or about March 1, 2026. According to the company website Carteret Health Care is an independent, 135-bed hospital serving Eastern North Carolina on the beautiful Crystal Coast of Morehead City.
