San Benito, Texas — According to state and local development sources, Cameron County plans to invest $5,500,000.00 to build out 20,000 square feet of new space in San Benito. The company plans to occupy the new space at 130 Oscar Williams in San Benito, on or about June 1, 2026. According to the company website Cameron County is the southernmost county in the U.S. state of Texas. As of the 2020 census, its population was 421,017. Its county seat is Brownsville. The county was founded in 1848 and is named for Captain Ewen Cameron, a soldier during the Texas Revolution and in the ill-fated Mier Expedition.
