San Francisco, California — According to state and local development sources, Genentech plans to invest $1.5 Billion to build out 1,000,000 square feet of new space in San Francisco. The company plans to occupy the new space in San Francisco, on or about October 1, 2027. Genentech is a biotechnology company dedicated to pursuing groundbreaking science to discover and develop medicines for people with serious and life-threatening diseases.
