Auburn, Michigan — According to state and local development sources, HL Mechatronics plans to invest $8,500,000.00 to build out 280,000 square feet of new space in Auburn. The company is creating 43 new jobs at this facility. The company plans to occupy the new space at 5230 S Carter Rd in Auburn, on or about June 1, 2026. According to the company website Halla Mechatronics is a North American subsidiary of the Halla Group established in 2013 in Bay City, MI. It is a state-of-the-art Research and Development facility committed to the design of electronics, embedded systems, and magnetics. With a multidisciplinary engineering team, our mechatronic know-how enables us to develop innovative design solutions for use in many precision motor-control applications.
