Central Counties Services to spend $1.5 Million to occupy 15,000 square feet of space in Killeen Texas.

March 11, 2025 Craig Etkin

Killeen, Texas — According to state and local development sources, Central Counties Services plans to invest $1,500,000.00 to build out 15,000 square feet of new space in Killeen. The company plans to occupy the new space at 1011 Wales Drive in Killeen, on or about December 1, 2025. According to the company website Central Counties Services has served over 70,000 people with mental disabilities since 1967. The Centers services have fluctuated over time depending funding available. The changing state and federal rules that accompany the Centers funding have also played a role in determining what services are provided for specified populations in the Centers five-county catchment area. The activities at the Center tell a story of how the Center was started and continues to meet the complex challenges of the times. Much has been accomplished toward moving the Center from its early caretaker role to being a high quality sophisticated treatment agency that proudly serves the citizens in Bell, Coryell, Hamilton, Lampasas, and Milam counties.
