Seattle, Washington — According to state and local economic development sources Swedish plans to invest $1,800,000.00 to build out 8,058 square feet of new space in Seattle. The company plans to occupy the new space at 1124 Columbia Street 3rd floor in Seattle, on or about August 1, 2023. According to the company website Since 1910, Swedish has been the regions hallmark for excellence in health care. Swedish is consistently named the areas best hospital, with the best doctors, nurses and overall care in a variety of specialty areas. Swedish has: Five hospital campuses (First Hill, Cherry Hill, Ballard, Edmonds & Issaquah) An emergency room and specialty center in Redmond (East King County) and the Mill Creek area in Everett Swedish Medical Group a network of more than 100 primary-care and specialty clinics located throughout the Puget Sound area Affiliations with suburban hospitals and physician groups In addition to general medical and surgical care including robotic-assisted surgery, Swedish is known as a regional referral center, providing specialized treatment in areas such as cardiovascular care, cancer care, neuroscience, orthopedics, high-risk obstetrics, pediatric specialties, organ transplantation and clinical research.
