August 6, 2021 Craig Etkin

Austin, Texas — According to state and local economic development sources Texas Children’s Hospital plans to invest $3,700,000.00 to build out 14,458 square feet of new space in Austin. The company plans to occupy the new space at 8611 North MoPac Expressway in Austin, on or about March 1, 2022. According to the company website Ranked nationally. Led by Texans. Committed to Austin. Texas Children’s is open in Austin with primary, urgent and specialty care. We opened in 1954 with a 106-bed hospital in Houston, but we’ve grown to become the largest children’s hospital in America and the #4 ranked pediatric hospital in the nation. Through it all, we are guided by one mission to create a healthier future for the children and women of Texas. That’s why we’re growing in Austin with primary, urgent and specialty care locations open right now, and a new $450 million top-tier children and women’s hospital being built for the future. Because a city that’s helping move the world forward deserves the most advanced care.
