Austin, Texas — According to state and local economic development sources CKD Corporation plans to invest $13,000,000.00 to build out new space in Austin. The company plans to occupy the new space in Austin, on or about November 1, 2021. According to the company website CKD USA was incorporated in 1985 as a wholly owned subsidiary of CKD Corporation, Komaki, Japan, with the primary responsibility of providing sales and technical support for the Americas. The company’s main product offerings are pneumatic components, semi conductor process components, indexing units, dryers, and general-purpose valves. These products are utilized in a wide variety of manufacturing environments, from the automotive industry to semiconductor manufacturing.
