Dallas Texas based Mission Fit Fitness Secures $600k in Venture Capital for Expansion.

June 9, 2020 Craig Etkin

Dallas, TX – Corporate wellness company, Mission Fit Fitness, secures $600k in Venture Capital for expansion. Sources indicate as part of senior management Chief Executive Officer, James Fisher Jr. played a key role in securing the recent investment and it will aid in aggressively expanding the company, as well as broaden and accelerate development.

About Mission Fit Fitness

Mission Fitness serves  businesses, schools and hospital systems helping them to become more productive, while lowering their overall costs.

Mission Fit Fitness is based on two simple factors:

1. Healthy employees are more productive than chronically ill employees.

2. It costs less to prevent injuries or illnesses than to treat them after they occur.

Mission Fit Fitness ties worker productivity directly to the health care issue. We believe that traditional approaches to the current health care crisis are misdirected. These traditional efforts are what we call reactive, that is, they wait until after the worker has been stricken with illness or injury, and then pay for the necessary treatments. The approach, which emphasizes prevention and good health promotion, is much more proactive. Participants have even called Mission Fit Fitness sessions, “recess at work.” With programs that include: Seed to Tree, Outsmarting Fat, and Your Office is a Gym. All of which are brought onsite to your place of employment or business. As of March of 2020 Mission Fit Health has partnered with two private equity and investment firms to expand the company to cover the entire state of Texas. Wellvest Venture Capital and Green Health Investment firm have combined for over $13 million in investments for health and wellness companies since 2001 and believe that companies like Mission Fit Fitness will be the future of health and wellness promotion in the workplace and beyond.
