Krum, Texas — According to state and local development sources, Krum Independent School District plans to invest $90 Million to build out 180,490 square feet of new space in Krum. The company plans to occupy the new space at 700 Bobcat Blvd. in Krum, on or about August 1, 2028. According to the company website, Krum Independent School District is a public school district based in Krum, Texas. Located in Krum in Denton County, the district serves approximately 1900 students. The boundary of the school district includes Krum and portions of Denton. The school district includes sections of Denton County and Wise County. Krum ISD’s mission is to create a collaborative atmosphere with parents, students, and members of the community in order to ensure students will reach their full potential by providing every child with an exceptional education. We will strive to prepare our students academically and socially to embrace their future challenges, as well as ignite the desire to be lifelong learners by providing a safe, respectful, and positive learning environment. Over the last 20 years, the City of Krum and Krum ISD have grown significantly. Krum ISD has expanded from serving less than 850 students in the 1991-1992 school year, to serving over 2,100 students in the 2020-2021 school year. With many new housing developments under construction in the district, continued growth is expected for the next several years.
