ArmorCode Doubles Growth, Boosts AI Security Governance with New Funding and Board Appointment

ArmorCode Doubles Growth, Boosts AI Security Governance with New Funding and Board Appointment

March 10, 2026 Craig Etkin

PALO ALTO, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–ArmorCode, a leader in unified exposure management, today announced $16 million in new strategic funding, taking the total funding raised to date to $81M. The company also announced the appointment of cybersecurity industry icon Phil Venables, Venture Partner at Ballistic Ventures and former CISO for Google Cloud and Goldman Sachs, to its Board of Directors.

The funding will accelerate the growth of ArmorCode’s Agentic AI Platform, expand global go-to-market initiatives, and support continued product innovation as enterprises race to adopt AI securely.

ArmorCode has doubled year over year, serving Global 2000 enterprises seeking unified visibility across applications, infrastructure, cloud, and AI risk. This additional funding was led by Cheyenne Ventures, with support from existing and new investors including Ballistic Ventures, Highland Capital, Sierra Ventures, NGP Capital, Harmonic Growth Partners, Tau Ventures, and Cervin, to help fuel its continued growth.

“Enterprises are accelerating AI adoption, and with five trillion AI agents projected by 2030, AI risk management is essential to keep pace,” said Nikhil Gupta, Founder and CEO of ArmorCode. “This capital enables us to scale our agentic AI platform vision faster, deepen our enterprise footprint, and continue building the industry’s most comprehensive unified exposure management platform.”

ArmorCode is seeing accelerated interest in AI security governance and life cycle management from its existing Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 customer base. Nearly 80 percent of these customers are driving ArmorCode to expand its Agentic AI platform, adding new capabilities that provide visibility into AI agents, MCP servers, and shadow AI.

Gregory Eaton, Managing Director of Cheyenne Ventures, said: “AI and autonomous agents are reshaping the enterprise, driving exponential growth in security complexity. ArmorCode is pioneering Agentic AI for Exposure Management, transforming fragmented security data into intelligent, actionable risk reduction. We are proud to support ArmorCode as they define exposure management for the agentic era.”

Board Strengthens Enterprise Leadership

Phil Venables brings decades of experience from the highest levels of global cybersecurity leadership to ArmorCode’s board of directors. Now Venture Partner at Ballistic Ventures, an ArmorCode investor, Venables previously served as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Goldman Sachs and Google Cloud and is widely regarded as one of the most influential voices in modern cyber resilience and enterprise risk management.

“ArmorCode is uniquely positioned to navigate the intersection of AI innovation and enterprise risk,” said Venables. “As organizations deploy AI across their operations, they need unified exposure management to mitigate risks across applications, infrastructure, and AI systems. ArmorCode is building that control plane.”

Venables’ appointment underscores ArmorCode’s growing influence among global enterprises navigating AI-driven transformation.

Powering Secure AI Adoption

As AI becomes deeply embedded in software development, business workflows, and enterprise decision systems, security teams face fragmented visibility across dozens of tools, agents, MCP Servers, and risk surfaces. ArmorCode unifies findings across application, cloud, infrastructure, and AI systems into a single prioritized risk view. This helps organizations reduce exposure faster, align security with business outcomes, and gain a global view of sanctioned and unsanctioned agents, MCP Servers, and shadow AI apps.

The new funding will directly support:

  • Expansion of AI Exposure Management Capabilities: Building on ArmorCode AI Exposure Management (AIEM) also announced today, to provide enterprises with comprehensive visibility and control into AI usage across environments. ArmorCode also establishes clear ownership and enforceable governance to accelerate AI adoption with auditable control and eliminate shadow AI risk.
  • Continued Platform Innovation: Furthering innovation across ASPM and exposure management solutions, ArmorCode is expanding its Agentic AI Platform through the Anya Agentic Framework. This enables autonomous, multi-step security workflows and broader MCP server support to deliver a programmable, extensible security control plane for the enterprise.
  • Global Sales and Partner Ecosystem Growth: Building on its existing Fortune 1000 enterprise customer base, ArmorCode is expanding both its direct sales organization and channel program through leading value-added resellers and global and regional system integrators across North America and EMEA.
  • Enterprise Customer Success Investments: Scaling its dedicated customer success organization with additional solution architects and AI security specialists, ensuring enterprise customers achieve rapid time-to-value and measurable risk reduction.

Flex has closed a $60 million Series B equity round led by Portage, bringing total equity raised to $105 million. In the last year, the company has quadrupled revenue and tripled its payments volume to $3 billion as it scales its all-in-one business and personal finance platform for high-net-worth middle-market business owners. Running a profitable middle-market business has become one of the most complex financial jobs in America, with owners often juggling more than ten disconnected systems to manage their money. Flex was created to give these high net worth owners a single place to run both their business and personal finances. This latest $60 Million equity round, followed by its $200 Million debt and $25 Million equity raise announced earlier this year, builds on a period of rapid hypergrowth. In just 12 months, Flex has grown revenue fourfold and increased annualized total payments volume from $1 billion to $3 billion across a suite of products, positioning Flex as one of the fastest-growing fintech companies at scale with best-in-class capital efficiency.

Flex is building the category-defining company solving this gap for high net worth business owners with a five-pillar strategy built around private credit, a business finance stack, a personal finance stack, payment solutions, and an ERP built for middle market businesses. This integrated model has allowed Flex to scale with high efficiency and has created a strong foundation for its expansion into personal finance.

Across the United States, a new industrial age is taking shape. Trillions of dollars in infrastructure, from energy projects and advanced manufacturing to data centers and critical mineral facilities, must be built in the next decade. But large construction projects are slower and more expensive today than they were half a century ago. Unlimited Industries, a California-based company using AI to rethink how infrastructure gets built, has raised $12 million in seed funding to change that. The round was co-led by Andreessen Horowitz and CIV, with participation from leading industry investors. The capital will accelerate Unlimited’s expansion and further develop its proprietary AI platform – one designed to make large-scale engineering and construction faster, cheaper, and more ambitious.

Unlike traditional construction firms or standard software companies, Unlimited is an AI-native construction company that both designs and builds. Its proprietary platform can generate and evaluate hundreds of thousands of design configurations in parallel, automatically identifying optimal layouts for cost, safety, and performance before construction begins. By integrating AI-driven design with its own vertically integrated engineering and construction teams, Unlimited eliminates the costly handoffs and misaligned incentives that have defined the industry for decades.

In a statement Alex Modon, Co-Founder and CEO of Unlimited Industries said, “Advances in AI mean we can finally build the physical world the way we build software.” “The traditional construction model is slow, brittle, and fundamentally misaligned. Our approach replaces static design choices with a dynamic, data-driven process that learns from every project. The result is faster, cheaper, and more successful projects.”

Unlimited is an AI-native construction company headquartered in San Francisco. Today, the company designs and builds across energy infrastructure, data centers, critical minerals, and advanced manufacturing, helping developers build with greater speed, ambition, and efficiency. Their mission is to build a future of radical physical abundance by automating construction end-to-end. The company was founded in 2025 by serial founders Alex Modon, Jordan Stern, and Tara Viswanathan.
