Westfield, Massachusetts — According to state and local development sources, Westfield Gas + Electric (WG+E) plans to invest to build out 33,200 square feet of new space in Westfield. The company plans to occupy the new space at 9 Medeiros Way in Westfield, on or about May 1, 2026. According to the company website Westfield Gas + Electric/Whip City Fiber provides natural gas, electric, and high-speed internet services to residents and business in Westfield, MA. WG+E serves over 8,000 natural gas and 18,000 electric customers. In 2016 we started Whip City Fiber to bring a locally owned fiber optic network to this same footprint.
