National Security Leader Xcelerate Solutions Expands Headquarters in Fairfax County

Fairfax County, Virginia – Xcelerate Solutions, a leading defense and national security company providing integrated solutions in enterprise vetting and analysis, critical infrastructure protection, cybersecurity, and digital solutions, is expanding its headquarters in Tysons. With more than 1,400 employees, Xcelerate employs more than 350 people in Fairfax County and expects to grow its workforce significantly over the next year. With the current expansion, Xcelerate more than doubles its footprint in Tysons from 7,759 square feet to 23,073.

Founded on September 11, 2009, in Tysons, Xcelerate is a trusted partner to Transportation Security Administration, Federal Law Enforcement, the Department of War, and Intelligence Community agencies responsible for the security and safety of the United States. Since becoming a McNally Capital platform company in January 2023, Xcelerate has made three acquisitions: VMD (February 2024); General Dynamics Information Technology’s Background Investigation Assets (September 2024); and clearAvenue (October 2025).
